but I finally got up the nerve to start on bow fixin's I got from KennyM in last years St. Judes auction. Yeah, yeah, I know I am rushing it a bit, but I got excited.

Riser looks like black walnut marinated in old coors for 6 months..
Or could have been rum and coke, not sure...

It has a bocote ish grain pattern, but looks to be slimed with sumpin... Maybe Pabst and cracker crumbs....

I finally got a chance to do some dry runs and I am pretty happy with it. Now if I can get life to stop taking up all my time I might be able to glue it up. [attachment=1]

Definitely ready for glue. Be careful about spilling beer in the glue. Makes it craze.
