It is pretty close to the edge so thinning and trapping might work. I would hate to go light but better light than broke.

It's an air hose form, glass bedding with steel pressure strips and Gordon glass. Kenny mentioned earlier about the washers being too tight, mine are made of wood (epic fail BTW) but they still could have been too tight, I hadn't really considered that would be an issue until he said that.
