Well, I never really left but, after a fashion forgot my login and had been following things as a visitor. Rob, hooked me up so I could log back in with my account. Much appreciate as always the Admin folks who've kept this such a great place all these years! Hard to believe I'm over 17yrs as a member here! :coffee:

Anyway, apologies to many of my Trad friends and family for the hiatus. After a few attempts to stabilize my MS, I am now 2yrs without any new lesions and have been exercising. I still need a cane due to the balance issue but, can go a short distance as long as I take my time. So, this year I am planning to get on my first hunt in a long while and hopefully, make it in the woods to chase those wandering Blacktails. My plan is to use my walking staff, to infiltrate their habitat but, not to far off the beaten path incase I need help. I figure to get in a little ways, setup at the base of a tree or natural blind and wait them out. I ordered up an inexpensive T/D Longbow to get me re-acquainted with shooting and will spend this spring and summer preparing. Planning a couple bunny hunts in Feb. to help get my shooting habits back. Really looking forward to sharing with old friends and making some new ones here on our cyber campfire!

The handsome devil in my avatar is now 16yrs and becoming a man. He brought me some heartache here a while back but, love him to death and will always be there if I can. The below pic is the two of us just before this past Thanksgiving.[attachment=1,msg3021908]

Thank you my friend! Getting a bit slower but, keep on keeping on as the saying goes! I'm going to give it my best to get out there this year. If anything, just some time in the woods will be a welcome! Even if only to shoot a stump!

TW let me know if you need a bow. I don't know if mine are too heavy or not. I've got fifty and up on weight. If your're in need of supplies I could help you out also.

Bisch

It's awesome to see you back TW!!!! Keep on keeping on, and good luck on your hunt endeavors!!!

Greatly appreciate you my friend! I did keep most of my equipment as far shooting gear goes. I have a bag full of practice tips to help find the right weight up front and enough arrows to get me going. My bow should be here in the upcoming week and I've got an archery range just 15min. up the road. I'll be there as soon as some good shooting weather comes along. I'll keep all posted on my progress.

Thanks Ron! I'm glad to see that many from the early days are still here but, also notice that many have moved on and no longer post. I'll do my best to get out there and bring some stories to the pages. :archer: Hope all is well with you and yours my friend!
