Friend

Have never forgotten your empty seat at the campfire...It is good to see that your seat is now occupied.

The bow is a Galaxy Ember, 60" and 40#@28. I believe from my searches, it is the same Black Hunter bow in your list. It will serve to get me back in shooting while I wait for my new Maddog Prairie Predator that is being made. :bigsmyl:

Good choice you will like it. I got my Black Hunter after my surgery because I could get lighter limbs for it. I have shot several deer with it also.

That's great to hear! I just ordered up some Mountain Muffler silencers for the string and already have a GN adjustable bow quiver to go on it. From some of the videos I've watched, it doesn't sound all that noisy though. I'll do a shooting report once it's here and setup. Delivery is showing this Friday.

I have a GN quiver on mine also. Perfect fit and very quite, mine fits under the limb bolts.

I also have a Thunderhorn Lynx strap on that I may use. I'm glad I held on to some of my stuff, that way I don't have to spend a ton of money getting back into this! :biglaugh: Really, just needed the bow. :archer:

I think you will like your Galaxy with the Mountain Muffler string and Great Northern quiver.  I have the exact same combo and it shoots nicely.      :archer2:

Unfortunately, I did not keep the Tigercat. I moved all my bows as I had originally thought, I wouldn't be able to shoot again. I have permanent numbness in my ring finger/pinky finger all the way up past my elbows in both arms. I have learned to do things realizing, I have to adjust to pressure sometimes. Not a lot of time on the internet is not necessarily a bad thing my friend! :biglaugh: Hopefully your schedule allows shooting time and get in the woods time?!

Hi TW!   I used to go by ceme24 here back in the day.   You may recognize that name.  I went through some life phases and also took a very long break.  Like you, I hope to hunt this fall.
So glad to hear you are choosing to "carry on".

I do remember you and am glad you reached out! Hope things are getting better for you also and may the progress continue. Look forward seeing you around the forum and to some outings. I'm really looking forward to the warmer days that's for sure. :coffee:
