Finally got the sleeves fitted. Now layout, straightening, add some reflex. The one piece had some thin cracks on the  back so I took it down a ring hence the nice yellow lol. There won't be a difference when I'm done.[attachment=1]

I got a good bit done today. Limbs cleaned up and to width and drilled. Mounted on the riser everything seems to line up good.

Couple of good looking takedowns shaping up there

Spent the last 3 afternoons getting the shop ( that doubles as a garage in snow season) in order.
Aside from the mice building a home in the box with my new feed belt for the drum sander and being sent the wrong grit belts for that sander everything went well.
Got the veneers ground and the riser block ready to shape.
Plan to finish the riser and grind the bamboo tomorrow and get the bow in the oven on Saturday

Crooked Stic

Just glued on tip overlays today and got another block glued up also.

I finally got out and went through my bow building stash. I mostly wanted to go through the core lams I have. There was a set of osage and a set of cherry cores and I got out some walnut, hickory, maple, as well as more cherry and osage. I cut all that down to my rough dimensions and now they need to spend some quality time with the drum sander and taper jig. 🙂
For risers, I have two nice sister risers from last year and the year before. I also have a nice zebra wood and blackwood riser that has been waiting to be built.
There's a good bit of riser wood in the shop as well, if my poor victim isn't crazy about the sister risers.

I cleaned the shop (somewhat) today, and got the swap bow back on the bench.     Got all the overlays on , need to shape the tips, then the riser .

I gotta get to it because it will be turkey season soon and don't want anything making me want to stay home from that!  :biglaugh:
Stay sharp, Kenny.
