What have you killed with a wood arrow? How much draw weight? I'm thinking of trying some Woodies and just looking some pics and info?

Wood arrows have been killing things for 15,000 years from mastodons to field mice.   :saywhat:

I have killed many deer and two fox with wood arrows. I have also killed deer using wood arrows with stone points. Most of the time I use my 40# Northern Mist Baraga long bow.

Can't post photo's on here for some reason.

Thanks Brad. It was a lot of fun.  I shot another bear  two years prior with another arrow of the same batch out of a 53# Blacktail VL.  Before the hunt,  I asked Ryan Derlago if the setup sounded ok. He replied "the only problem you will have is cleaning the dirt off the broad head after it shoots through the bear and buries itself in the ground."

I am heading up for another chance at a bigger bear this spring. I will use either a 49# Stickflinger or a 50# Blacktail recurve probably with another of Snag's beautiful arrows. It is a rush for sure.
