As most of us, I have gone through bows searching for THE one. I've had a few Silvertips, Strikers, and too many Widows to count. My latest trade I think is THE one. A Blacktail Elite. seems like it fits me and shoots great as well as being really good looking. I don't think it will set the world on fire, but I have other higher performing bows like a Dryad Orion, and a newly acquired Centaur triple elite that I am waiting for. Any body else found THE bow ??

I dunno about "the" bow but I'm pretty happy with my Primaltech.   Happy enough to have another one in the works.
I can afford to shoot most any bow I like.  And I like Primal Tech bows.

Unfortunately  I have to agree, I thought I found the one....till the next one. But this Blacktail really trips my trigger...
Hope my Centaur does it as a longbow also

Yep, 20 yrs ago at the trad expo when it was in Hastings, put my hand on the grip of a Caribow recurve. It was over!

I've went through a lot of recurves and longbows both production and customs in the 50 years I've been shooting them. I own seventeen bows now. But my two favorites are my 1984 Bear Kodiak Takedown and my 1972 Bear Super Kodiak. Both are great shooting bows.

Blacktails have  been high on my list.  I have owned three, an Elite, an elite VL, and a Sitka. I thought the Sitka would be the one (and it is a very nice, good shooting bow.

But, my Tall Tines Stickflinger is currently still my best shooter, followed closely by the Sitka and a Javaman elk heart.

I am done buying bows for sure now.

Yes I've found the BOW !
Several times. In fact I've got a dozen of them. I just decide which is the one for this year.

I can't say it's the bow but I really love Rocky Mountian Recurves.  They just work for me.

Yes, for me it's my Tall Tines Stickflingers.  They do what I want. For recurves toss up between a chinook and a lynx.

Friend

Have been most fortunate to have found the one many times. We are blessed to have so many great bowyers out there today. Many bows that I have owned would fall into the category that if this was the only bow I owned, I would be quite satisfied.

I just enjoy working with the bowyer and thoroughly enjoy delving into a new shot experience.

Yep.  The two in my signature are all I need.  Sometimes I play with others because despite the perfection that I have on my wall, my addiction to traditional archery makes me want to at least test drive them all.

Just this year, got this RD 52" built by Elkseaker Bows.
It's has become my go to hunting bow.

No, may never find it. Right now "it" seems to be my white feather lark with SF limbs. Then my Bear B Mag riser with Bear limbs. My heavier bows just aren't as much fun to shoot

I have bounced around a good bit but have been most satisfied with my old BW pre cnc MA with the "frost finish" and two of their LB's.  They just seem to fit me and shoot where I look.

I do have a Bear Super Mag that I love and wish I had my original Super Kodiak back.

Yes, actually bowS, a PSAX and Bear TD. Every once in a while I have the need to try out the latest greatest bow, just to see if they can dethrone those two. So far, nothing's came close.
