If you're going to be stupid, you'd better be tough!

I am an old guy....  I am shooting Zephyr Scirocco and Sasquatch heads. I am shooting the Scirocco 120 gr with steel mounting inserts on Arrow Dynamics LT Stingers cut to 29.5" with 5" feathers at my 28" draw on 45lb bows (both LB and recurve).  I shoot the Sasquatch with steel inserts on Arrow Dynamics Traditional Lite shafts cut the same as above and fletched the same on a 52lb LB.

I think all that is correct... LOL

Though old, and the manufacturer now gone, these BH's have served me well.

I've killed game with a bunch of different heads over the years...The big Snuffer was one of my favorites...I now shoot the VPA 200 grain 3 blade and it has performed well for me from 40 - 50 lb bows...
LONG LIVE THE LONGBOW!

Hot Hap

Woodsman with a 40# @ 30" draw

Wheels2

Snuffer 125 grain.  Border Covert Hunter 50#, Morrison Max 6 ILF 46#

I find that just poundage is not a true judge of performance.  Each of these shoots like bows of heavier weight.
Super Curves.....
Covert Hunter Hex9h
Morrison Max 6 ILF
Mountain Muffler strings to keep them quiet
Shoot as much weight as you can with accuracy
