I like Ace Standard heads a lot because they are a good head that sharpens easily and is relatively inexpensive. Plus, the same style head comes in 125gr, 145, and 160. I shoot 45-70 pounds and I can just adjust weight, add steel adapter, whatever, still use the same style head.

Forgot to add in my previous post I am using a 30gn screw in adapter to use my 145gn ace standards with 2213 camo magnum aluminum shafts. Makes the Ace 175gn. And.... just took a late season doe with it last night. The Ace did a fine job!

I like Montec G5 and shoot the 125 grain, I am constantly switching bows but I shoot 45-50lb most often.

Buckeye1977

My favorite so far are the 3 blade vpa 175 grain. Have used magnus stingers, zwickey, and grizzly heads also and they did the job. I shoot between 45 and 50# bows at this time

The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

Currently I use

Woodsman 3-blade 125 gr with 100 gr insert
VPA 3-blade 160 gr with 75 gr insert

Both out of Centaur bow 45# at 29"

I use those broadheads because I can easily get them razor sharp, and I have them tuned with different inserts/shafts so they work for me. In the past few years, I have also used Grizzly single bevel, and I like them.
