Got cut at work picking up a broken toilet and had to get stitched up. Porcelain would make one fine knapped arrowhead, barely grazed it with my forearm and it sliced me good.

It does make decent knapped heads. I have 5 gallon buckets full of it for that purpose.

Ouch!  That's gonna leave a mark.

I'll bet it feels like crap.

Nice stitches.  They have a toilet bowl knapping contest at the Classic each year.  The points that those guys make from a broken toilet are amazing.

I found an old dead osage tree with some interesting grain    :D   I can't wait to make a bow from this stuff.

Finished these limbs last night.

Beautiful veneers. They sure would look good in a recurve.
I finished off a small taxidermy base this afternoon, then I dug out my bow woods to get started on a couple or 3 new ones. I planed some bamboo, some palm and some lovely tight grained yew. Now to sit back and think about what to build.

Been waiting on templates to be made for my takedown design. Started a Hill style bow with leftover materials since I have been in the mood to build. Hoping that it will be around 40-45# so that I can use the bow to work on form and for target practice.

Sure has been nice being back at it...

Finally got around to shaping the Ipe for the BBI I'm building for a buddy. I had assumed I would use the big band saw at the shop, but when I arrived it was opened up and missing the blade. The shop guy suggested I try the table saw. So I set up my 0.002 taper sled on the fence, stuck the Ipe board to it with double sided tape, and let it rip. Sure cut fast and clean! It cut through ipe better than my returned 9" band saw cut through soft pine. Of course, I had to stop a couple inches short of the handle, and I will need to finish that next time with the band saw and spindle sander. But that will be quick and then I can glue up.

Hi guys,
Yesterday I finally got my drum sander finished and groun some lams. Was very surprized how acurate it is. Diference in thickness oo ends was only 0.01mm which is about 0.0004". Here is video  https://youtu.be/iqSIn3duV6g
