I thought you guys would appreciate. Funny thing is that my Virginia Dept of Professional and Occupational Regulation license renewal is sitting right here in front of me on my desk.

It turns out it wasn't just a simple math/beer error. Rather it was over-thinking things, making it too complicated and ignoring my initial stack calculations (which would have only been over by a couple of pounds and could have been sanded away.) That'll learn me. Like Ben said, I have more data now that covers the full range.

I'm slowly learning to simplify. Maybe someday when I reach his age I'll be as simple as ole Roybert...

Made a handle from whale's tooth to my pattern welded 10" blade. Blade made by one of Scandinavia's top blade smiths.

Well today while attempting to repair an old pair of glasses, I super glued my thumb and fore finger together... Took about 10 minutes of soaking in finger nail polish remover to break them apart.. LMAO...

That's OK I guess Roy..... LOL

Went to a 3D with Bro John and got within 7 points of him. He was getting nervous. Not really, we don't worry much about score on anything. Had a great time, didn't have to wait on anyone with chairquivers, umbrellas, binocs,or rangefinders!   :bigsmyl:
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Worked on a new tri-lam today. I was maybe fifteen minutes away from be satisfied with the tiller when I hear s small pop. Took me afew minutes to find what made the noise. Riser had cracked on the upper limb in the fade.

Took it to the bandsaw and cut off. Looks like I'll have my work cut out tomorrow grinding the rest off and fitting on a new handle.

Last night I spent the evening shaping the riser on another long bow. I think that shaping the risers is my favorite part. I'll have to try one of them fancy recurve take down risers some day, they look like a lot of fun.

I've now got four of them that just need final sanding and it'll be time to spray. One is a re-finish of my own bow. One is DU2's new bow. One is the swap bow. And one is for some guy way up north. The fifth bow is my elephant bow that's roughed out to about 99# at the moment. Not sure when I'll get around to finishing that oops up.
