I'm just finishing up on this bow. It is my PA Trade Bow. HHB, 64"t/t. about 55#@28" and a sweet shooter. I've put over 50 narrows through her today, put on 4 or 5 coats of Tru-Oil(a few more coming), added cow horn overlays and a hemp cord handle wrap with a floppy rest. There is still some of the cambium on the back. I opted not to add any other decorations except the tip overlays. This bow was built to hunt. It shoots my 650gr tapered ash and hill cane arrows well at 26" so I can only imagine how 28" will be. She is tillered out to 29". Here is a peek...

Like I said on another site..."I'm loving me some HHB bow wood..."!  This stuff is as good as hickory and elm. It has seasoned for about 6 years so being well seasoned really makes a difference.

Pat, great job as always!  Is it a bend through the handle design?  I really like to work with HHB also, plan to cut some more this spring....Dan

Very Nice. I just replaced my Heat gun and will be back to work on a HHB again today.

Dan, this handle is stiff but the limbs bent to the handle.
