Whipped up a batch of jerky last night.

Be careful Kenny:)

Careful Kenny???? Guess that means I'm open for comments.

Did you invent jerky? And that's how it got it's name?

If you use the bigger dust deputy. you can mount that blower on the wall and run the pipe outside and get rid of that bag thing. Mine puts 99.9 percent of all the dust in the drum. The only time it got any outside was when my drum got full. Using the 4 in. model.

Thats what I'm thinking Im gonna do with mine, pipe it oustide. Do you notice any issues with sucking all the heat out of the shop if its running for a while like when making tapers etc? Also, did you notice very much reduction in airflow after attaching the dust deputy? My DD will be here Monday then can get it all hooked up. The filter bag is only 5 micron so Im leaning towards ducting it straight outside. Thanks for posting the pics, very helpful.

you will get less restriction with the dust deputy... with less particles going to the filter it will take a long, long time before it begins to clog...

Crooked Stic

Actually if you can mount blower right on top of the deputy I think you may gain a little bit. At the time I could not do that. Cant remember who this is but may be better.

Cleaned up the bow shop this morning, always a dusty job and hard on eyes and sinus.

Started on this one today. Osage riser and osage veneers with wenge tips and overlay on handle. Lots to do yet but liking seeing how its taking shape. Enough for today though. Clean up and grill some burgers. [attachment=1][attachment=2]

Grinding Bamboo tapers today. .003 forward taper going into an .004 reverse taper. Think I will make a glass RD bow. Been some time since last time. Arthritis have been kind for a while now.
