Bad day here.
My grandson Anthony, who is a junior at the University of Pittsburgh college and on the soccer team, has come down with covid19. 8 other players on the soccer team have it too.
A few prayers would help, thanks.

I used latigo leather dye to stain the bamboo on the short BBO I've been working on.  Now all I need is to apply the finish and make a proper string for it.

Finally got all the pieces assembled and wired up for an operating thickness sander. Now need to make a dust collection hood and cut some sleds to start making lams for real.

Sorry to hear that Roy. He's got young and fit on his side.

Matt, that leather dye looks like it really soaked in. Looks great

How you adjusting your table, Mark?

I hope Anthony will have a speedy recovery, all the best from across the pond.

You can't see it, but the bottom board is hinged on the far side of the sander frame and there is a carriage bolt through the frame that lets me tilt it up and down. The boards that are clamped on were just to fill space enough to let me push a couple test pieces through without a sled. Under normal operation the sleds will ride directly on the tilting table.

Watch for side to side deflection with the single point adjuster on your table. I had a problem with twisting when I made mine. You might not have a problem, your table is narrow, short and might be stiff enough.
But its amazing how you can be off a few thousands side to side just from hand feed pressure.
