If you fear failure, you will never try ! But never except it!!

So Kenny, how's that newest one perform? Any faster?

Put a custom paint job on my daughters new to her bow. Teal limbs faded into a black riser.

I'd post up some pics, but it's her NASP bow.

Not fast, as expected, it lost much reflex going to 56"  , did 179 with a 10.5 gpp arrow. Not bad, not great...
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Kenny...  Are you gonna explain what your design and theory was without the super lam??  Are you gonna try tweaking it??

Sorry to hear that you did not hit higher numbers...  Don't always come on the first try... At that speed it has potential...

Would like to see some pics, unstrung, strung and at 28"...

That sounds fun, enjoy. I wish the midwest had as much interest in trad archery as the eastern states, we only get the mild weather wheelie stuff out here (not that I haven't had my years in that).
Skeater who?

The closet I'm getting to the 3D range today is looking at the left over Rain dear at the shopping mall with the wife  :banghead:

I knew the shorter bow would be making contact with limb tips with the superlam so I built it without. Learned something, with the SL 's stiff tips it bends more in limb center so it was actually prob closer without it. It was gonna be a 58" but with spalted hackberry veneers , walnut core , and no SL it came in light so I piked it to 56"

Good Deal...   I have found that if you think you have basis for a good design it takes a bit of tweaking to get what you want...  Like my buddy Kirk said, "You can get about 50 different limbs from one design"...
