Congrats Skeater!

I had planned to go hunting this morning, but listening to the winds howl as I was sharpening some new broadheads about 0530 I started to think I may sit it out and get some stuff done. Then came a beautiful sunrise and the winds died right down (opposite of normal.) So I'm sitting here drinking my coffee and thinking of what might have been. Of course there's tomorrow morning!

You know, I haven't worked on a bow in 6 months. But cleaning up my shop I've come across a few blanks and staves that may get some attention in the next week or two. It's a good time of year to slow down and feel some limbs taking shape under my fingers.

Update: Finally got my first squirrel of the season after seeing one in the backyard and making the "stalk." Longbow at 19 yards. This bow has killed practically everything except a deer...makes me wonder if anyone has killed one with one of the other bows I've made or if I somehow build in anti-deer karma?

Hey, congratulations Skeaterbait! Your going to have to make some mini Bows and arrows.

Nice fork Roy, reminds me of those big Polynesian fork and spoon sets people used to hang on their walls in the 60'

Roy from Pa

LOL, it looks bigger and longer in the picture.

It's only about 11 inches long.

Bvas

An awful lot of grain run out in that fork.
