Ken did you mix the ea40 1to1 and then the acetone to ea40 1to 1

Yep, roughly. LOL  Ea40 mixed 1/1 and then rough guess on acetone to make liquid enough to apply. Wiped on with fingers and a latex glove.  Let dry a day or 2 and sanded. Loved it!

First time I tried doing it in the garage. I learned real quick to do it outside with a nice breeze.

It sure does.  I keep a small desk fan across the bench when I'm using CA to blow the fumes away.

Worked on shaping the riser tonight. Still got some work to do around the shelf, but it starting to look like a bow.

Took it out to full draw tonight, looks like ill be shaping the handle and hopefully shooting it in Saturday!  Observations always welcome.

Got some work done on the trade bow form today.  Unfortunately it's going to rain in the "shop" tomorrow.

My crappy router does a poor job of it but it's going to tune up ok..... I hope.

Riser wood is Santos Rosewood with a Maple accent.

Thanks everyone, I can't wait to get home and shape the handle for the Saturday 3D plink.  Perfect way to shoot it in!

It's snowing here.  Seventy degrees yesterday and 28 with snow today.  So, I made a run to my local veneer guy and picked these up.  Three silky Australian walnut and one curly etimoe.

I'll probably incorporate some of this into the swap bow.  Any opinions on what which would look good with Myrtle?
