According to the digital bathroom scale the bow scale is spot on. Dang it.

How about the limb pad angle?

And also, they use some .050 glass, what ya got in that one?

I haven't tested this personally, but I've heard .040 vs .050 will make about 10# with same total stack.....

Do they measure stack at end of wedge now?
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Pad angle is 11° per the drawing. The weight chart really doesn't say anything about glass thickness, it just gives a total stack. I never gave the glass a second thought other than calculating the stack. You can bet I will from now on.

I only measured at the end of the wedge because it was easier than measuring the butt end and trying to cipher that without the wedge. I checked my specs and I am definitely equipped with a NON-ciphering brain.

I shortened it another inch and even with narrowing the limbs I appear to be 2-3 lbs over the bottom end of the range. WHEW!!

Skeats...  Good Drama going on here...  You had me at the edge of my seat...  :)

Glad its gonna work for yah...

You could always pop out another riser at an 8* angle...  That should add a couple of lbs...

Thanks skeater, nice to see that I'm not the only one who screws   everything up!

Shall we make it a contest?

Interesting idea. Of course that would mean I would have to go to the wood store again.... whatever would I do...

Got the irons and the aluminum face on the form today, and will be filling countersinks with adhesive and final sanding it tomorrow.  That form weighs about 50 lbs now    :D

All of y'alls bows look so nice, I'm starting to get a little nervous about how mine will measure up.

I gave the bow it's first test pull on the tree on my way out of the house to work. I went almost straight to a 20" pull where it was pulling 40#. It's looking like it should hit 50# if it doesn't give me too much fuss getting to full draw. I've gotta get the midlimb a bending more and give it its clean up sanding. I think I'll give it a good clean up, then I'll heat treat when I give it a little left and right correction, as the string lies on the opposite side of the handle I need it to.

Whoa...  That's a Looker, 4 Point...  Nice job...
