I can't either! Thought it was just me! Lol
An elitist mentality creates discord, even among the elite!

Luck is when preparedness meets opportunity, I just need more opportunities!

I can't see them either, but I saw Roy coming.    :biglaugh:

Ok, new question for all participants in the swap.  Don't answer if you are not actually in the swap.  This is my devious round about way of asking my recipient without giving anything away.   :o

What partipants are hunters and which are not?

I've actually never been archery hunting.  I would love to try it some day soon.  Truthfully though, I haven't been big game hunting since the early 90's.

Anymore, I mostly shoot prairie dogs and coyotes.  Or, shoot AT them anyway.    ;)

I hunt.
Try for elk skeaterbait, you can make a lot of burgers with it.  2 birds with one arrow.
Life is too short to use marginal bow wood

LOL, you assume I can make that arrow go where it's needed. I am a poster child for the old archery adage "So that's where I was looking"
Skeater who?

my wife is a widow come September through January which just happens to correspond to colorado elk and PA deer season

From the time the leaves start to drop  until the start of trapping season I'll be found under a brushy tree with a bent stick in my hand, harassing all the fluffy critters.

I've decided to make my victims bow into a Hedeby Viking bow as opposed to a more Victorian style elb. I'll be back to it as soon as I can get a Penobscot down to weight. 40# at 27" before I lashed in the backer bow, and 70# at 15" after. I was more expecting a 20-25# weight gain, not that much. I'm glad I need to drop weight as the main bow could flex more in the outer half of each limb.ill get that evened out then I'll drop some weight from thenbacker bow.

I'm mostly a hunter, I do shoot a few 3D shoots every year.

Looking good Kenny, at least from what I can tell from your secretive pictures!

Yes green glass on mine, going for the classic hunter look! So far the colors are coming together real nice. Next step, two piece transformation!

Worked on her a little today, see her blonde streak?

And was delighted to see it in the sight window...

So I may finish her, maybe she will be fit to send off ....
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Finally got to work!  Laid out my first form ever, took a note from kenny with the 1/4" template.

Here it is all glued and screwed.  Tomorrow I will go back to the wood shop and cut it out and route it.
