Are you still utilizing those narrow thick Sitka tips? [/b]
No
I'am going back to the original design and starting over.
1 piece bow, small handle (riser) more like a selfbow handle.
Going with less thickness taper and narrow limbs.

I am sorry  :)  New to this forum and trying to find out how this photo adding to reply works. Hope this time it will work.

But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

Yeah, they are quite handy for this riser part and riser overlay gluing.

At first I was doing this with regular clamps and had many problems with parts sliding around, now it is much more precise, faster and easier.

Mad Max

Work on my form more today.
start making lams and riser parts next.

Cut and ground lams for 2 bows, laminated a riser, made 2 new jigs for risers,  profiled a riser, glued up a set of limbs, and spliced lams for a one piece.
Wheewwwww!!!! Long day !

Revamped my 54" form a little. Took a little deflex out and softened the  transition between the limb contours.
