I tested generators ahead of the big ice storm that starts as early as 9 in the morning.

I'm hoping to bowhunt tomorrow so hope it waits a bit!!
Stay sharp, Kenny.

I burnt feathers on 37 arrows into a shield cut pattern.  I couldn't keep the garage doors open much because of the rain.

Roy, is that top limb just a tad stiff coming out of the fade?

Finished another set of limbs for a 3 piece I've been designing for a while now.  So far I really like it.

Lol. I'm betting the tiller looks  just fine

I started a red oak board bow for my 4 year old, following a build along on this site.

Oh and i worked on a bamboo arrow, trying to get my technique down.  Other than sanding the nodes, I cant get much straighter than this.  Its still very long, like 39", so I have some room to play.  It seems pretty stiff, like a 7595 Goldtip Traditional almost.  I dont have a spine tester yet.

Cut the grips into 3 bows I got on my bench right now. Two r/d s for me, and a hill style for wife. Just fished stitching her arm guard. Died the leather pink  ;)

Very nice, Randy..

Clint it does look a tad flat there. He shoots 3 under also. He took it home to put a 100 shots through it, then when he comes back we will fine tune the tiller.
Those are 7 up cans on the floor:)

bigbob2

7 up cans, yeah right!   :biglaugh:   split a big osage log got 4 staves off half split and chased a ring on 3 of them. got them steamed and put away to season. Started on light weight takedown 'curve and also a 45# deflex/ reflex.Busy start to year.

I have to get two TD LBs done by early Feb. I have them all the way to the riser shaping and finishing stage. Had to order new 50 grit spindle sanding sleeves. The marblewood and cocobolo are gumming up the works!

Received my first ever package from Binghams.
Guess the only thing holding me back on my first build is me (and my three kids basketball schedules).

passion for knowledge

Made myself a bow sock out of an old wool blanket I found in a dumpster! Cleaned up as good as new - waste not, want not - yes, I'm a cheap so-and-so!

Got my tri lam ready for final tillering with the short string.

Pictures?   :)

passion for knowledge

I've made 9 bows so far.

I have 5 shooters of varying weight.

The ones that broke are the ones I tried to document the making of in pictures.

If I post pics of this one and it breaks, I'll blame you, Roy!
