Glad to hear you're doing better Dick! I will have to investigate your drying tube idea. Right now, I have my bow on finisher's triangles on bench cookies to keep em from slipping, with a fan blowing at it. We'll see how it works later when i get home.

Dang Dick! I'm glad your back home and starting to feel better!

I've had that "walking pnuemonia" stuff, twice! But I was a bit younger than I am now. And you had food poisoning too?!

You take care!

I might be out of the loop for a few days. If  you ship on Monday let me know. I believe the 30 day extension is up on Monday. Communication with stiks or myself is important more so now then ever.
Great job so far everyone keep working on them bows just let us know where you are at.

Here is "Dark Continent" after being "shot in", that's 200 pulls to full draw on the tillering tree.

The tiller doesn't look perfect but he might be canting her a bit. Any opinions?

If it flings an arrow where I am looking great, if not then I need to start looking where it is flinging the.  :)  looks good to me B.

red hill

Hey, that looks pretty good to me, b! Like that profile.

b.glass

Here's another shot with my husband pulling it. Neither pic has it pulled quite to full draw.

Looks good from where I'm sitting "B".  Has it taken on any set with the horn belly, just curious, might want to try it in the future....Dan

Looks Good Bona.

I did some more work on mine tonight, Hopefully as long as all goes well it will be in the mail by the end of the week or next week at the latest.

There are a few guys that I haven't seen hide nor hair from and They will likely be booted out of the swap if I don't hear from them within a day or two.

Hate for it to be like that but I ain't running in circles for months again trying to chase down a few, ain't gonna let Kelly do it either. The bowyers who are holding the bow they built per request from Kelly will be notified by the end of the week who to ship to.

Thanks, Stiks

I will get you Bowyers your new mailing addresses if they others end up being no shows. Don't worry it worked out great that the ones that have me worried had the same specks as the ones they were building for.

Pat B

Bona, the second pic shows the tiller right on. The first pic makes the bottom limb look too strong.
Make the most of all that comes and the least of all that goes!

Got mine finished and should go in the tube tonight, as long as the last coat of poly has set well. Then in the mail tomorrow.
Keep the wind in your face and the sun at your back.

b.glass

Thanks all.

Pat, that's what I thought. Could that be from the bow being canted in the first picture?

Bona,
The picture angle could be part of it.  Also, how the bow is gripped and the pressure is applied with the fingers will affect how the tiller look, especially on low poundage bows.
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.
