OOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! I know I usually end my posts on that note, but after work today I went huntin'! Me, Dad and two friends we saw 27 rabbits and only hunted 1-1/2hrs. We shot four and could of shot at least 15 but I was saving them for the hunt. Lots-O-lots a bunnies. Curt ya better talk to the Misses!!     There are some rooms in Ravena $55 but man they are rough. The Econo and the other Fran mentioned are the best. I still say just sleep at Dads, Mo and Fran, well if I was a couple I would get a room too!! Luke, sorry bud, we will see ya next year!! Curt, call me after 8pm tonight please!! There are more bunnies than the last 5-6 years and that is saying something as we have killed 37 on a good day of hunting. It should be good!!! OOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH YEAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Shawn

Luke I'm sorry you won't be able to make it this year, I was also looking forward to meeting you. On the other hand, it's nice to see that you are keeping obligations that you previoulsy committed to.  Says a lot about you.    

Man Curt, I'm sorry to hear your news too, but, family does come first, and at least you'll be there for Saturday, and maybe part of Sunday.  Funny thing is, my parents 40th wedding anniversay if the 16th, me, my brother and four sisters are planning it now. #1 stipulation on my end was I won't be around on the 18th and 19th, nobody asked why, they all knew!

Shawn...looks like I'm heading up Sunday by myself. Seems Bill Greene doesn't want to stay and bowhunt a few rabbits in the afternoon....so I'm flying solo. I'll probably leave the shop around 10:30 after I catch a few hours sleep(don't get home from work until 6:30am). Probably bring the Massie Sunday, just threw a bunch of arrows into the backquiver. Maybe I can get someone else to head up...anyway...unless an emergency hits..I'll be there.

Mike / Scott....If you guys want, I'll book us a room at one of the motels while I'm at Shawns. Just let me know....

Joe, come with Curt. He is coming Sunday as well. Give him a call and you guys ride together. Check out the posts above. He said you two would come together. David, they are everywhere, remember that stand you sat by the road? Well, there are a ton in that piece alone. If it is overcast and we have snow, we will be doing a lot of shooting, killing is another matter!!(LOL!!) Yeah man, brush pants are a must. I may even take a break and sit on a drive or two!! One spot last night took us 20 minuts to go 30yds. but we saw 10-12 bunnies in that 30yds. This old man had to sit down for a few it was so thick and the guys that know me, know I do not quit, but this was rough, the wife was picking thorns out of my ear and neck for 15 minuts last night. This is gonna be good if we get the right weather, overcast skies and a few inches of snow and we will be golden. I got some more for the table last night and Foxfire is sending me the arrows for the LDB which I should have in a few days! I am gonna hunt with it as much as possible before the Bunny Hunt!! Chuck, I hope so!! I really hope someone can take one with it at the bunny hunt. Over the two days everyone should get a chance to carry it, we are gonna shoot the arrow off of it the first day and than raffle those arrows for St. Judes. It should be cool. I did up a dozen for it as weel and I am putting JLMBH and the date on them and LDB and am gonna do something special with those as well!! OOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Shawn

How much snow is out there?  There is about 5" here, all soft fresh powder.  Hope it stays like that out your way too.  I just talked to Tracy at Foxfire a couple of days ago, we spoke about the arrows he is sending to you, great gesture on his part for which I also thanked him.

J. you are more than Welcome to come. It is an open invitation to anyone who wants to come. It is getting bigger and better every year. I have secured a larger hunting area in case we need it. If we have 35 guys the bunnies will have to run by somebody in some of the pieces!! David, we have about the same here, I have spoke to my supervisor and I may get clearance to have the whole weekend, snow or not!! Yesterday with the thundersticks we went easy on the bunnies, could of probably got 12-15 in an hour, but just enough for a meal for two of my buds. I also want to Thanks tracy at Foxfire, it is  a great gesture. I also have a list of people to Thank for donations, that I will do when this whole thing is over. I have had people send me judos, feathers, arrows, nocks and what not to use at the prize table and too make arrows  for the LDB, and these are guys who are not even coming to the hunt. That is what I love about this place, there is so many unselfish people and we all have a common goal and that is to promote this great sport!!
