I tell you what, if you can get to Syracuse,sometime Friday would be best, I'd pick ya up and you could stay at my house for the night. I'm pretty sure Linc is gonna ride down with me, but if you aren't to big, we can all squeeze in the ranger. I'm planning on heading to Shawns dads early Saterday morning, I've got to leave Saterday evening though, so you would have to work out a ride back for Sunday. Let's see if we can't make it happen.

Shawn...Woodonly and I may take a ride up this Sunday and check out a few motels. Anything around Ravena or Selkirk?
If your gonna be around, we'll bring the bows and shoot some arrows in the backyard. I get home from work around 6:30am...won't hit the road until 11am. Let me know if your going to be around...Joe

Joe, Curt is coming up this weekend, if you two want to hook up, we can go check out that new spot together Sunday afternoon. Yeah there are some nice Motels/Hotels in the area, but ya can sleep at Dads with a bunch of us. See if Curt wants to do that. You guys could be here around 1:30 and we could hunt and stump too!! Joe; Moe and I have stayed at the Best Western just off the Thru Way south of Albany bout 8 miles from Shawn, 90.00 bucks or so. Theres also an Econo Lodge just down the road at about 70.00.
Have looked for cabins with no luck. If you find some thing that looks more promising please post.
Will chip in on the Luke deal' we are also going thru Syracuse approx. 7am Sat and returning approx 5.00 Pm Sun.

Ouch, bad news. I've got another volleyball tournament on the 18th, so it looks like this year is a scratch for me :( :( :( . Next year for sure though, I am definitely coming

Sorry you can't make it Luke,My oldest son Kevin was really looking forward to having another 16 year old to Buddy with!!! We both understand though he's a "Baseball Star" LOL. Kevin said to tell you Good Luck at your tournament!!! Win one for the "Gang"!!!!!!! Good Luck Luke!!! We'll see you next year!!!

Sorry to hear that Luke,another thing that you may need to consider is a hunter safty certifcate,they're required in NY.I,m not sure how that works for a non res. just that it,s required the first time

All you need Luke is a copy of the multiple choice exam/certificate that you took to buy your licence with. It proves that you took the HS course.

Boys, looks like my 2 day hunt took a serious hit this morning!!!

Seems my wife has made plans for the long overdue christening of my daughter on that Sunday..."In-laws are going to be around,that will be the best time,bla,bla,bla................ :mad:

Needless to say I'm not real happy about it,it's not definate yet,but almost....

I should still be able to hunt Sat.,stay over for the morning festivities,then get home for the christening,depending when it is......

YUP,faimly hasta come first,hopefully it,ll be in the afternoon.

Luke,sounds like ya already have it.We're required to pass that exam and recieve the certificate to get a licence.It's a 1 time deal probably the same thing you have up there.Something to double check on just the same to make sure it's accepted.....come ta think about it I wonder if our tags are proof enuff up there that we took the course,my cert's got lost in a house fire yrs ago but an old licence is proof enuff so it's never been an issue
