Ben, thanks for the response. What doe's your Rhino look like? Would love to see some close up pics of the locust ect.How many pounds are you pulling at your draw length? How doe's it shoot compared to a Wesley?


Brian, Yea I'm thinking myrtle for the riser. For now, it's just a pipe dream however!

Just curious.  I have one longbow with a little wider but a little thinner limbs.  I have other longbows with more narrow, deeper cored, limbs.  I have somewhat decided what my preference is but curious what those that own both think.

Personally I like the narrower limbs and deeper cores, BUT my C&N straight and Belcher union jack were wider and thinner than a standard hill and they shot well also. I'm hopelessly addicted to straight end bows is what I decided!

I like the narrower deeper core limbs to.  Seem more forgiving and smoother.  I ask as I am curious about Hill style bow design.

I hope that they are each receivin' equal attention - one doesn't want any jealousy or competition poppin' up!

Help me out here please. I recently sent my 12 year old Wesly Special to Craig at HHA to refinish her and install new antler limb tips. Why I didn't do that originally...I don't know. When I received the bow back I was very impressed. I have a high opinion of Craig and his work but this one exceeded my expectations. The bow originally was 54@30" when it came hone it was marked 46@29" which would put it at 49@30". Ok I figured adding the antler to the tips would drop poundage. So here is the problem, if you will. In trying different spine arrows65-70 lb 29_1/2" to BOP 11/32 cedar shafts with 160 gr field points are giving me the best arrow flight. The issue is I am pulling these 30_1/2"       ! So I'm pulling less weight and going up in spine, Real confusing...any thoughts?

PS: if I can figure out how to post pics I will share. She is a pretty little thing with that dark cocobolo riser, elk antler tips and those sexy long black limbs...

Just picked up a HH Cheetah from tradmember bhall. Absolutely love it. Ty, HH bug bit me.

I was fortunate enough to speak to Jason today and place an order for a 66" Half Breed.  45-48#@28".  Choices were made, pics will tell the story when the day comes.
