Wow that red man looks really different .

Well, after 904 pages, I guess I finally realized that resistance is futile.  It took me quite a few arrows today to get used to this type of grip, but once I did...oh boy was I thrilled with the accuracy of this stick and the performance of the 3 Yew laminations.

And without further adieu....my new to me Bama Bows Classic Elite.

Has anyone ever ordered a HHA Bow with regular bamboo core(2-3 lam) and the outer lams carmalized boo? I love the look of the white core boo wood and dark outer lambs.....I thought about getting a half breed or something but I wanted the full potential that an all boo bow affers. Does the different wood really matter? would mixing the different boo effect it?

I am new to Trad Gang but I'll never forget as a kid walking into my local library looking for some books on indian lore or stalking or anything to do with the wilderness....and long and behold there on the shelf in the huntin section was a book called "Hunting the Hard Way"....After reading it I fell In love.....I love Hill style bows.
When I got out of college I decided that before I got married I would get me a Howard Hill Bow....Unfortuantly I am left eye dominant so I have made the decision to sell my bow and hopefully order a lefty.
Howard Hill was left eye dominant, and shot right handed.
So I would not worry too much about that.
It has been said that if you keep both eyes open when you shoot, eye dominance does not matter.  You may want to try one of the many methods of shooting.
Something may work for you.
Regarding woods ; speak to Craig or Jason at HHA about  wood combinations.
Opinions are as plentiful as splinters regarding wood. Anything anyone says is the "way" remember ....  is works.... FOR THEM. I think, everyone should look to find their own way. Borrow from this or that method, but ultimately find your own way

Man, you guys are killing me with the talk of all these bows! I just had to pass up an offer on another Hill as I just couldn't come up with the scratch. But reading about all these wonderful Hills, of which none belong to me, is painful, indeed. But I am saving nickels and dimes 'cause the show ain't over yet.

I am guessing that you'd be just about as happy with an "Osage Royale".

Spent some time over the last couple days getting to know my Redman and Big Five.  Impressed with how they each shoot.  I also put together a new set of arrows.  These bows are fun to get to know.

All shooting was around 20 yards.
