Made this quiver yesterday from some 6/7 oz. veg tan i got from tandy. Has laces in the center of the top for a compartment separator, and i put an antler button on the back, and i knapped a point for the strap. this was my first back quiver attempt. here it goes....

For hunting to have a future, we must invest ourselves in future hunters.

Wow, if that's your first attempt, you just might have a future in leatherwork.  Good job.

thanks guys, It took me about four hours counting the time to dye and seal the leather.

That's amazing! Where do you get the leather?

If it wears as good as it looks I think you have a future in making them.  Nice job!

I like it! I like the knapped point idea! The quiver looks very rustic, good choice on leathers!

Well done! nice first go.

Pointer for the next one. invest in an edge rounder/beveler tool and a slicker. Round/bevel the edges of any raw edge such as a strap and then dye the edge and burnish it first by dampening it with water and then with beeswax, makes a neater edge and keeps the edges from looking ragged. My favorite slicker tool is a peice of deer antler with various size grooves sanded and polished into it
