Natural ground blind pictures

Please share any photos of your natural setups. This is something I really want to try this year in east Texas. No feeders and no bought stand, just want a natural looking ambush hide.  Thanks

me too,maN. I'm right in the middle of G.Fred's book, Stalking and still hunter's bible. lotta good stuff in there. I plan to do most of my business from the ground this year.. good luck to ya.

Here's a picture of one of my turkey blinds this year. I roosted the bird then built this blind and slipped out in the dark. Look close and you can see the die cut netting with branches weaved in and my shooting "window". It worked great,set in the shadow of the tree. I should have trimmed one more branch though.The one my limb tip hit when I took an 8 yard shot at a nice tom,arrow went 2' off to the left!    

I carry a small roll of the netting,pruning shears and a couple bamboo tomatoe stakes with me. I zip tie the stakes to my catquiver. I can set up a workable blind in a few minutes if I have to.

The first picture is me standing up in the natural ground blind I shot my bear from in 2011. I actually was sitting on a walkstool while hunting and when I shot the bear. The second picture was taken by me from where the bear was standing when I shot it and the guide is standing in my blind for reference. The shot was 11 yards.

This is a picture of a natural ground blind that I killed two deer from in one morning. I was sitting just to the right of the tree that is leaning. I have shot quite a few deer by just getting into some cedars and cutting some shooting holes.

i used old tree lstumps as th frame. i just added a roof and some black soil errosion mat to darken it up and keep it warm for winter

I shot a buck and doe from this blind last season.  The dark spot in the middle is my bag setting on the seat.  It works for a north wind and you can bet I'll have it ready for this season, too.
