Got a bunch of white wraps for a "good price" which may be my problem. When I put them on the shaft, they're fine for as long as I don't fletch them. When I fletch the arrows, the tape seam comes loose. Haven't tried glue, just fletch tape.

Bad wraps?

I would say, skip the wraps, see if the Seller will Return your Money too. Paint 'em Up! It isnt hard!!

I quit crown dipping about 10 yrs ago. Not even sure if I still have my dip tubes.   :knothead:   I've come to the assumption that good wraps are

I have run into that before with "bargain wraps".

Onestringer's wraps are top quality and very well priced too.

When I want plain white I use "shelf liner". It cost about $3.00 forenough to do hundreds of arrows but I also use glue not tape.

I use Onestringer's wraps and have had NO issues whatsoever with them...7 dozen and counting!

Good price and excellent quality equals Scott and Mindy (onestringer and his wife).  I would never waste another moment crowning with anything other than his stuff...I have dozens and dozens and really abuse them...leave them out in sun, weather, etc...

Never a problem.

Also, I've given up on fletch tape for the ca type glues...almost as fast and never come loose or change in the heat, etc.

Dustin Waters

Ill chime in and say that ive used Onstringers stuff several times with the tape and have not had to re fletch due to tape falling off.  I will be using his stuff more often than not.

Scott and Mindys wraps are super, I just ordered some more. Thought I would like some customized for my differant bows. My make my life easier after tuning them to the differant bows.

With Scott and Mindy you can have it your way!

Will that little bit of weight at the back of your arrow change the flight?

Goatpacker

Just had my first onestringer experience. Wonderful speedy service, got mine in 3 days, they look great glued some up last night no problems. I will be buying more.

Barney

After piecing them together they say "Tecmark series 3000" on the back, I think. Are they junk or is it due to the fletch tape?

Onestringer, you'll be hearing from me.

Thanks, Barney

Onestringer

Hey Barney,

I don't know anything about Tecmark, but I got your PM and sent you one back.  So you want red 1 1 1/8" wide, I just need to know how long you want them and I will send you all you want, in the colors you want, and if you want something custom I will send that too.  You can be my Consumer Reports.

Thanks to everyone who has nice things to say about our wraps.  Mindy and I try our best to put out a product that we would buy, at a price we would be willing to pay for it.

It depends on how close spined you are, if you are on the edge it might.  I use 9" wraps on my MFX500's.  I cut them narrower at .93" wide so I am adding 9 grains to my arrow,  However I bare shafted with the wraps on.  The weight at the back can stiffen up the spine.

I will give Scott and Mindy an A+++ in product and service. I won't be dipping any arrows anymore. They are great and you won't go wrong using them.

Thanks Scott, all I can say is "WOW". They look like quality to me. I'll be a new customer and will spread the word.

Dusty shafts are most likely the problem. Clean them before using any wrap or crown dipping.

I have used wraps from many makers and even from my own bulk materials. Never a problem if the shaft is clean and the wrap is not to thick.
