I have been shooting 1916 shaft arrows.48# @ 28" .I was wondering what is the equal shaft in carbon?Thank you!

Bowmania

Check out 3 Rivers.  They have a shaft with a deflection of .600.  New I think it's called the Epic.

I'm not putting up with this guys shit and dogging me.

Shawn just had a thread going about carbons out of low poundage bows. Check it out, he would know.

Easton Epic, redline,Goldtip or Beman energy in the 600 spine would get you close. The Gold tips will use regular inserts and I think you have to use half-outs inserts with the others for screw-in points.
....Quality deer management means shooting them before they get tough....

I don't know the answer, but if your 1916s are at least 29" long and you want to get rid of them, let me know.
