Had a new bow waiting for me when I got home from vacation. 66", 75#@27" Black Widow PLX TD. Graybark cross grain veneers with carbon/bamboo core. Shoots like a dream - quiet, quick and accurate. Looks like a hunting bow. I don't think I'll paint this one. LOL

That is a very nice looking bow. Just a tad light in draw weight for me              "[dntthnk]"   .  The knife looks rather nice also. But dang denny ya could have taken it out of the sheath LOL<><

Thats a lot of bow. I do like the cross cut vaneers. I saw them at Nixa. It kind of gives it a natural camo.

Make it 75@29 and I'll take it ! Very nice....should be good for dinosaur hunting too ! I really dig that cross grain and the graybark is just too perfect for hunting.   I really like the PLX but have a lower budget. If you ever part with one of these 70+ 66" plus widows Denny, please let me know.  For now, I'll stick with my Dwyers.  ;)   She's a beauty for sure.

Looking good Denny.  Is whitetails here in Michigan your first target with it or do you have something else on the go before October?

Got a quick question: If a guy wanted more of a heel on that grip....dare I say, an "Asbell" grip, could he get it from Widow ?

Paul, The last few years I've been shooting Zwickeys at the big stuff and Wensel Woodsmans at everything else.

Tim, I'd like to hunt some blacktails out west before deer season opens here.

Gordy, Toby at Black Widow can take care of you.  :)

Gordy

Ah jeeez.... I was hoping the answer was 'no'.  :D

I feel a strong pull from the "dark side" for 08'....dear lord, help me now.....     :help:

Elksong, Darryl just finished the new BW owner's DVD and is working on Masters of the Barebow 2.

Elksong

That's great! I really like MOBB 1, lot's of helpful info there.  You could use a little work on your native style dancing though.....  :goldtooth:

Denny, Nice bow. I just wanted to say that I've bought two bows from your dad this year and he's a super guy to deal with. Wish I lived closer so I could meet you guys. Take care. Rob

Arrowslinger

Denny, Love the bow.  Very nice knife also.

Nice looking bow and knife, the knife would of even been sweeter if it was made from the same wood as your riser. Good hunting and keep up the good work!

Nice bow Denny. With that weight you ought to be good for game up to around the size of a Mastadon  :D

I don't shoot quite that heavy but curious of your arrow setups...would you mind sharing your specs?

And how do you like that takedown system...love my bowbolt but that really looks like the ultimate in simplicity.
