I have been shooting 28 1/2" Vapor Carbonwoods 3000's out of my 47# Savannah longbow. These arrows have a 100 grain brass insert and I use 125 grain heads. I recently got some 3555 Gold Tip Traditionals and I'm wondering if I can use the same arrow length, same weight of brass inserts? I figured I should probably ask before I started cutting. If you are familiar with the Gold Tips as compared to the Carbonwoods I'd appreciate your input.

Thanks.

I have not shot the carbonwoods, but I do use the 100gr brass insert and 125gr feild points in my GT 35/55 at full length and they shoot great out of my 55# Hill bows.

dgf41,
What is your total arrow weight on those 35/55 with 225 up front?
