Lost money order

The post office has lost a money order I sent to purchase a bow from fellow trad gang member. I sent m.o. certified first class 1 week ago yesterday. Has this ever happened to anyone else? What steps (hoops) did you go through to resolve problem? Any advise would be helpfull.

Do you have the carbon copy/stub? Take it to where you purchased the M.O. and they can guide you.

osagetree, belive it or not I purchased it from the post office,and then mailed it at the same time.

Still should have a receipt of your purchase..

It mite so up still, I have mailed a letter to a another town 2 hours away and it took a week and half to get it there.

yes I still have a reciept. I can only hope it shows up.

same thing happened to me. I think it took three months
. might have been two  to get it back.

IF you bought a posal money order...there are just like cash....go back to the PO and they'll cancel it and give you another no problem...Kirk
