2 or 3 piece?  Longbow or recurve type grip?  Heavy or light (mass weight)?

I'm partial the the Chek-Mate Crusader (2-piece)--I like a longbow that still feels like a longbow (grip and mass weight).  Not knocking others, that's just my preferance.  Roy Hall's Navajo is one of the best heavy, 3-piece take-down longbows I've shot.  Lots of bowyers offer a 3-piece and/or 2 piece model.  Lots of great bows out there, just depends on your preferances.

mainly 2pc but would consider a 3pc

Not sure what part of TN Parsons is in, but if it's anywhere near Herb Parson's Lake (just outside Collierville) there's a shoot (Lost Tribe) there on the 21st of this month.  My bow is a one-piece, but you are welcome to try it out--the td version is very similar in feel, just a little heavier in mass weight due to the td hardware.

Come shoot with us if you can--we shoot on Saturday.  Great bunch of folks, great course too.
