Anyone own one of these, or your thoughts on it's preformance, pros and cons ?
You can PM me if you don't want to say anything out loud.
Thanks

Hi Jerald,

I shot one for ten years and really liked it.  I only swithed because I was changing weights.  However, I now have a Bob Lee Hunter which is a hybrid bow with highly reflexed limbs.  It is MUCH faster than the Mountaineer was, and I really like the shorter length for hunting to.  But if you're looking for more of a classic shaped longbow, I don't think you can go wrong with the Mountaineer.

I traded into mine almost a dozen years ago it was my only bow for 9-10 years. A solid, reliable, good looking bow but there are better performing bows out there.
