Ebony stain, Kirk. The German pine has a nice grain like Doug fir, any stain looks good on 'em.

One for the old guy!

These are douglas fir shafts from Surewood Shafts...of course. I put a tail taper on them and bought the turkey feather fletching from Josh Echterling.

The forward part of the shaft is stained a dark walnut. As is the nock end.
Isaiah 49:2...he made me a polished arrow and concealed me in his quiver.

Just finished 6 of these for my Liberty longbow. The 6th one is still in the a Bitz drying.
