Chris, any progress on the new sharpening system you were working on?
We're still prototyping, but are getting really close.  Just making some final tweaks now. [/b]

Anybody know if a tree shark will screw onto an AD trad hammerhead?  Will the gap in blades fit over the collar?

Don't know about a tree shark, but I have one screw in land shark, laying around here, that will screw on an easton 2213 aluminum with room to spare. Measuring with a dial caliper, the 2213 measures roughly .345" across. Would think the gap would be about the same for a tree shark.

The gap on the TreeShark is close to a half inch.  Don't have any AD shafts to try, but it will go on a 2512 aluminum with room left over.

Do you have any integrity issues with the screw on interceptor? it seems like if might, but then it might bend but not break...

RED is my FAVORITE color.

A wide two blade will NOT let you down...but those Simmons "hatchets" OBVIOUSLY stretch the hide a bit as they pass thru.

If you lean close to the screen, you can smell the fresh meat.

Sir charlie, tell us how you do that.

Dan... it's a variation of Jack Howard's method of preparing a broadhead.

Basically you break razor blades (the heavy kind used in box cutters) from nothing at one end of the edge to 3/8" at the other end.

Clean surface of the razor and the side of the broadhead blade with acetone. Coat with Plio-Bond contact cement. (you'll find as I did that this is THE adhesive to use)

Let the pieces dry and then put them together so leading end of the razor (small end) is below the broadhead edge and the wide end is above the edge about 1/8".

Clamp in place until glue is set.

Very effective and surprisingly tough.

Kinda like this Charlie?
Looks like a good way to get rid of the hiss AND add some more cutting dia..

I like the idea.  Seems like it would introduce some spin.  Might be careful to make sure its helical same side as the fletching?
