Anybody have pics of stained Bacote?   I vaguely remember maybe seeing some, and wanted to get a better idea of the looks and options.

I find Bacote a leetle over-the-top with the contrasts and all, and was hoping a stain may bring the disparity a bit more into a harmonious and complimentary union.  More of a middle ground, let's say.  Is it possible?

Thanks,

Mark

I don't know if its the hunk of wood, or if its stained, or just the finish... but I think mines pretty mellow... but on a longbow... there's definitely less of it
