I have an old bowfishing arrow that needs a new point. How do I get the old one off?? I'm afraid to try heat for melting the fiberglass!!!!  :help:    :help:    :help:
Sawdust, Wood Chips, and Shavings are as close to Potpourri as I get!!!!!!

Only way I know is to cut the shaft off behind the old point and epoxy on a new point. However to replace that point you have to cut the shaft again. I personally replace the point after the first cut with a adapter (middle of pic) and glue the new point on with 411 locktite. then the point can be heated and replaced as needed. I also epoxy on a nock adapter with the push in type nock, so I can replace broken nocks quick and easy. All of these things avalible through Muzzy.

ah hell, you aint gonna hurt them things, yall need to quit worrying about them shafts, its not gonna hurt them...
been there, done that, got the t-shirt.

and ya need to get some Goat glur, 5 seconds with spinning anf it AINT COMING OFF!!! unless you add heat, and quite a bit....
If its brown its down; thats my motto.
