Check out the Down East coalition. There are several  trad guys who shoot there.  http://www.downeastarchery.homestead.com/DEAC.html

I'm the VP of Shady J Archers who just started at Seymour Johnson AFB in Goldsboro, NC. We hope to join the Down East in the near future.

I'll be heading down to Avon the 25th of May.  I've thought about taking a bow down to go after some of the rays in Pamlico Sound. That would be a blast. Haven't looked into it yet though.  I cause myself enough grief with the wife for staying out too long fly fishing when were down there.  She'd really flip if she caught me loading a bow in the car!!

Wish I could help you two, but I'm up the Roanoke, on the 'fall line.'
I do see a lot of Ohio plates everytime I go to the beach.

Found you something. Give me shout if you come through Halifax Co. and need to stretch legs and bowstrings; or need anything.  :archer:
