How's this for primitive? It is a single feather put in a split cane shaft. Sorry about the double post.

Thanks guys, it shoots real well out of my Widow but not so good from my self bow. I think the spine is to heavy for it.

Howard, how did you split the cane?

looks great man  Just recieved some cane and am going to try to make some arrows myself

Mickey I just split it with a knife down as for as I wanted it. After I put the feather in it I put a plug in just like you do. I cut the nock in the other way.
