A stupid question so bear with me:

Can I serve a string with one braid of B500?

Thanks,

I supoose you could, but I doubt that it will last very long without fraying.

Thanks Bob, so it can be a temporary repair and still allow for a couple of practice arras then hunt  :)

You can, but a braided spectra fishing line will work better/be more durable, and you can get different sizes.  I still prefer actual serving material, but that will work.  You can shoot without any serving at all, but your string will wear where you nock the arrow.
