Wanted to share this moment with you and thank everyone for all that I have learned on this site.

I took my first two traditional deer last November....and as great and wonderful as that was...it just does not compare to this rush.

Check it out!

Congratulations B&B!!!  Nice looking bird.   :clapper:    Man, that has to be exciting.  I called in a nice tom this year, but not close enuf.  Had to settle for some mushrooms.

I posted this event with mixed emotions. While I am proud...I don't want to come across as proud.  However....I see it as a tribute to this site which has contributed greatly to my journey.

I guess it's my way for those of you who give advice from your experience....to see the fruits of your labor.

I trust it is accepted in that way.

You do "ALL" Trad Hunters proud when you take game, especially something as tough as a turkey with trad gear. I love reading this site and sharing in other trad hunters joys, excitements and even bloopers in pursuit of game or just slinging arrows.

Thanks for your post and sharing with us. That's what it's all about. Congrats and hope to see more in the future!    :clapper:

Your pride is not mispent partner.  Your son will remember that long after you are gone from this earth and he is near his end.  It will be crystal  clear in his mind.  As Charley Lamb said nicely, "that will leave a mark."   It sure will.
