Went out this AM. Heard some gobblin on the roost a long way up the valley. They pretty much shut up when they hit the ground (at least I never heard them gobble again). Saw one hen at 20-25 yards below me on the hill.Got to get on the road now.   :(

Killed my first 2 birds this past weekend.  I cheated though.  Used a 3 1/2 inch load of #6's.
