I have seen these mentioned more than once.  I did not find them on the DB website.  Where do you find them?  How much lighter are they?  Cost?  worth it??

Thanks in advance guys

Bears can attack people- although fewer people have been killed by bears than in all WWI and WWII combined.

Dan, like you I hear people mention the light weight rods.  However, according to the guys at double bull there are only two sets of rods for the Matrix blind, those for the standard matrix, and those for the recurve matrix.  I believe the old T5 model had light weight rods but can't swear by it.
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

Try and give Double Bull a call directly.  I ordered a new Matrix last February with the lightweight rods.  I believe the extra cost was 79.99, but at almost 5 pound weight savings, it was well worth it.

I talked to the folks at Double Bull yesterday. They are $68. plus shipping and need to be installed at the factory. The lightweight rods are 4.4lbs lighter in the standard model and 5lbs lighter in the recurve model.

Well worth it. My recurve Matrix is lighter than my regular T5.

Alright guys, I stand corectted.  The information I posted was has been relayed to myself from a friend when he called them last month and one of thier distrbutors when I bought one in March.

I've had both styles of rods and wouldn't tote another DB into the woods without the carbon poles. Well worth the extra bucks.
