can you peel goose feathers like turkey feathers...??

Will goose feathers peel the same way turkey feathers will...I havent gotten any goose feathers to try yet... but will soon...

You can peel them off just like turkey feathers.  The ones I've done end up very thin and want to curl more than turkey feathers.  I prefere to cut and sand the shaft instead.

Make sure they aren't too dry. If you peel one and it runs off the side, cover the feathers in a damp towel for a little while and try it again.

cut them instead...its more consistent, in my opinion, than peeling. There is likely a tutorial on building a sanding jig...that makes it easy.

If not a tute on here, then someone can do one easily enough, or ref. the articles that have been in primitive archer and TBM on the subject.
