Anyone checker bow grips in the Pacific Northwest?  Alaska, Washington, Oregon?  Rough price and time?

I've already contacted Tim Golder and he no longer does bows.

Thanks,
Chris

You could try  www.checkering.com  I believe her name is Sherry, she used to do checkering for Kimber rifles.

Thanks, I've seen her sight.  Great work.

Brownells have a starter checkering set that starts out at $41.  Use the search function on their site to find it. The starter kits have worked well on gunstocks for me, don't try and get to fancy to start with and to start, stay with straight lines, no curves.  been there done that..  practice first.  You can add to the starter kits later if you find you like doing it.  Take care all and good shootin,  Swabby

Hey JuneauRecurve, you're an arty-fartsy sorta fella, why don't you learn how so people can come to YOU for checkered grips!

I saw a thunderhorn bow at a shoot last year that had a stippled grip...I will definately have one done like that if I can ever find some one reputable who does that sort of work. Not as "fancy" looking as checkering but more functional in my opinion and a very unique look on a bow.
