I was wondering how well the those first year(1967)super kodiaks shoot?
Genesis 27:3 Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison.

I've shot just about every year Super Kodiak made, and they are all very similar.  The all micarta model (67) usually has a lot of finish checking, but it is a very fine shooter, and the extra mass provides for a steady shot.

I like the 68 and 69 models with the rosewood caps;  very classy.

Of the Super K.'s I have. I believe the 69 models seem to shoot the best. I have 3 of those, and one is 64". My favorite. The 69's seems to have a deeper handle, and a thinner overall riser. The later ones seem thicker. They still shoot well. But, I'll stick to the 69, as being one of the best.
