Hey Guys, i am sorry if this has been touched on before but i am wondering if any of you have tried cresting over any of the plain arrow wraps javascript:void(0)and if so what cresting paint are ya using.  i know i can have custom arrow wraps made but i was curious,  if i wanted to add to any of the plain colors.  Thanks, Jack

Use a plain white wrap and you can use any cresting laquers or model paint. They all work fine. You dont even have to clear over them.
Good Luck and if you need anything please let me know.

Jack, I've done it often with Bohning paints. Never had a problem.

Testors paint used for models works fine. You can get a set of a half dozen popular colors in one box.

I have done it with Whispering Winds cresting paint and it worked fine.

Go to Napa auto store and check out 3-M pin striping tape for cars. I use double silver, black and red. It is a little expensive but will last for hundreds of arrows. My buddies have never noticed it was tape and not paint.  Very durable. All you need to apply is a pair of scissors. Also good straight lines and no mess.
