Looking for yardage of shots put on turkeys?
Im just wondering.

Bill Turner

Most of the turkeys I've killed with a bow have been between 12 to 17 yards.

Whip

I've taken four with a bow (only one with a stickbow)  Haven't had to shoot more than 12 yards on any of them.

What is the average yardage without a blind?

David

Shawn Leonard

I would guess the average is abou the same with or without. Turkeys see good so if they catch ya move it does not matter if it is 10 yards or 40 yards. I have killed 3, all fall kills and I would say 12 yard average. One form a blind and two from treestands. Shawn
